As you can see from their website; Wilhelm Hurtz is both a psychologist and occupational therapist. I was recommended to him by my GP, to help me to deal with the side-effects of cancer treatment, including the psychological impact of my resultant permanent physical disabilities. Over the years, I have found Wilhelm to be both a highly skilled practitioner and compassionate individual; he is skilled at identifying when to take off his psychologist hat and put on his occupational therapist hat , depending on what I present on the day. As someone predisposed to evidence based solutions, I have found this dual approach to problem solving a significant aid to my recovery, development of action plans and acceptance of my long-term physical disabilities.
